Aviva Investors has teamed up with Ripple to move traditional fund structures onto the XRP Ledger, marking the asset manager’s first foray into tokenizing funds. The initiative will create on-chain representations of existing fund vehicles, aiming to streamline fund operations such as settlement, reconciliation and reporting while leveraging XRP Ledger’s speed and low fees.

The deal is notable for signaling growing institutional interest in tokenization as a way to boost efficiency and transparency in asset management. While regulatory and operational details remain to be disclosed, the partnership could accelerate broader adoption of tokenized funds and strengthen XRP’s role in institutional infrastructure for digital securities and fund distribution.
