Lendasat Unveils Lendaswap: Non-Custodial Cross-Chain Exchange for BTC & Stablecoins

Published at 2025-11-14 11:43:36

Lendasat has introduced Lendaswap, a non-custodial cross-blockchain exchange designed to move Bitcoin directly into stablecoin liquidity pools using enhanced Bitcoin scripting. According to coverage in Bitcoin Magazine, Lendaswap claims to enable instant, bidirectional trades without custodial intermediaries or wrapped BTC, relying on on-chain script logic to settle swaps across chains.

The launch could broaden Bitcoin’s utility within DeFi by reducing dependence on tokenized BTC and centralized bridges, potentially unlocking new liquidity channels for traders and protocols. Adoption will hinge on developer audits, user onboarding, and how the protocol manages smart-contract and cross-chain complexity, but if successful Lendaswap may shift some stablecoin-BTC flows away from wrapped solutions and centralized custodians.
