OKX has been granted a Payments Institution license in Malta, aligning the exchange with new EU regulatory requirements coming into force in March 2026. The approval paves the way for wider stablecoin use and expansion of crypto-linked card services across the region.
Emurgo and Wirex previewed the Cardano Card in Berlin with a planned 2026 rollout and up to 8% crypto cashback, a move that could boost ADA spendability. Technicals show resistance at $0.60, support near $0.51 and an RSI around 63.
Wirex and EMURGO unveiled the first Cardano-powered crypto card, enabling users to spend ADA and more than 150 other cryptocurrencies globally through the Wirex app. The move promises wider on‑ramp utility for ADA and a new consumer-facing layer for Cardano.
Despite ADA’s year-to-date drop of 32%, Cardano is moving forward with a global crypto card in partnership with Wirex, timed ahead of its namesake summit in Germany. The move aims to expand everyday utility for ADA and other digital assets.
