Ripple Lists Coinbase Crypto Futures on $3T Trading Platform

Published at 2026-03-05 19:49:36

Ripple Prime has added Coinbase’s crypto futures — Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), Solana (SOL) and XRP — to its $3 trillion institutional trading platform, effective March 5, 2026. The products will be available to Ripple Prime’s vetted institutional clients within a regulated U.S. marketplace, allowing custody, execution and settlement workflows to operate under compliance rails familiar to institutional desks.

The move matters because it stitches together two major infrastructure providers, potentially boosting liquidity and price discovery for listed contracts, including XRP futures. For institutions, the integration reduces operational friction and expands derivative choices on a single regulated venue. It also signals growing cooperation among centralized exchanges and institutional venues as firms compete for professional flows and broader market legitimacy.
