KBank Files 13 Trademarks for Stablecoin Wallet Services Ahead of KOSPI IPO

KBank has filed 13 trademark applications related to stablecoin wallet services, a regulatory filing that arrived as the bank prepares for its KOSPI listing penciled in for March 2026. The applications, lodged in early February 2026, appear aimed at protecting product names and branding for custody, wallet and payments features tied to stablecoins, underlining the lender’s positive stance on expanding digital-asset offerings.

While trademarks do not equal product rollout, the filings are a concrete step in KBank’s digital strategy and could help shape investor sentiment ahead of its IPO. If developed, branded stablecoin wallet services would position KBank to provide on/off ramps, custody and payments to retail and institutional clients — but actual services will depend on further internal approvals and compliance with South Korean crypto regulations.
