Bitwise Chainlink ETF Nears Reality as DTCC Lists CLNK

Published at 2025-11-13 09:48:59

The Bitwise Chainlink ETF has been listed on the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC) platform under the ticker CLNK, a technical but meaningful milestone toward bringing LINK into traditional investment channels. DTCC registration streamlines settlement and custody for brokers and authorised participants, lowering operational friction and making an eventual ETF trading debut more feasible.

However, the listing hasn’t stopped net outflows: wallet and exchange flow data show continued selling by holders, suggesting traders are booking gains or reducing exposure ahead of any formal launch. That persistent supply could blunt immediate price upside if approvals come through, since institutions may face limited secondary-market liquidity. Market participants should monitor SEC action, authorised participant activity and on-chain flows — the DTCC step matters, but selling behaviour will determine whether an ETF sparks a rally or reshuffles existing supply.
