Tether, one of the leading stablecoin issuers, has revealed ambitious plans to launch its new U.S. dollar stablecoin called USAT in December 2025. The announcement was made by Paolo Ardoino, Tether's CEO, in a recent interview with CoinDesk.

USAT aims to capture a vast market by targeting 100 million Americans, expanding upon the existing success of Tether's flagship stablecoin, USDT, which currently has a supply of $182 billion, dominating the stablecoin sector.

To facilitate adoption, Tether is investing in strategic partnerships, notably with platforms like Rumble, which boasts 51 million active U.S. users. The strategy involves investment in two to three key companies to boost user engagement and adoption rates.

Importantly, USAT is designed with regulatory compliance at its core, adhering to new regulations including the GENIUS Act. The token will be issued by Tether America, a newly formed partnership between Tether and Anchorage Digital—a regulated U.S. crypto bank—ensuring alignment with federal oversight.

For those interested in entering the crypto space or expanding their stablecoin holdings, Bitlet.app offers innovative services to ease the investment process. Bitlet.app’s Crypto Installment service allows users to buy cryptocurrencies now and pay monthly, making it more accessible to diversify and grow your crypto portfolio.

Stay tuned for more updates as Tether's USAT stablecoin prepares to reshape the U.S. crypto stablecoin landscape by 2025.
