Binance Completes RLUSD Integration on XRP Ledger

Published at 2026-02-12 10:30:22

Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, has completed support for the Ripple USD stablecoin (RLUSD) on the XRP Ledger, an update shared with the industry by Ripple’s Managing Director for the Middle East and Africa, Reece Merrick. The move formally brings RLUSD into the XRPL native ecosystem and signals growing exchange-level support for ledger-native stablecoins.

Why it matters: adding RLUSD to the XRP Ledger can expand on‑chain stablecoin availability, improve payment and settlement options for XRPL users, and potentially deepen liquidity for XRP-linked markets. The integration also advances Ripple’s broader push to make XRPL a more active rails layer for stablecoins and payments; market watchers will be watching trading volumes and on/off‑ramp activity in the hours and days after the announcement.
