CME to List ADA, LINK, XLM Futures in Push for 24/7 Crypto Trading

Published at 2026-01-15 15:15:21

CME Group said it will list futures on Cardano (ADA), Chainlink (LINK) and Stellar (XLM) beginning in February, widening its roster of crypto derivatives. The contracts are positioned to meet rising demand from institutional and professional traders for regulated ways to gain exposure to leading altcoins, and to support the exchange’s push toward more continuous trading availability.

Listing these tokens on a regulated venue could sharpen price discovery and improve liquidity by bringing more institutional flows and formal risk‑management tools to ADA, LINK and XLM markets. For investors and funds, the new futures may ease hedging and compliance challenges and help integrate these altcoins into existing trading desks and custody arrangements, potentially reducing friction for professional participation outside of Bitcoin and Ether.
