JPMorgan Launches Tokenized Money Market Fund on Ethereum

Published at 2025-12-16 06:45:07

JPMorgan Asset Management unveiled a tokenized money market fund on Ethereum that gives qualified investors on-chain exposure to U.S. dollar yields backed by U.S. Treasuries. The product lives on the public Ethereum network and is designed to combine traditional short-term government debt with tokenized settlement and custody workflows for eligible clients.

The launch underscores rising institutional confidence in public blockchains and could accelerate the tokenization of traditionally centralized cash instruments. While aimed at qualified investors and built with compliance and custody controls in mind, the fund may lift demand for on-chain liquidity and set a benchmark for other asset managers exploring tokenized cash equivalents.
