$35M in SHIB Withdrawn from Coinbase in Two Large Transfers

Meme token Shiba Inu (SHIB) traded mostly sideways this week, confined to a tight $0.00000835–$0.00000855 band and holding the lower range it has occupied since late November. Despite muted price action, on-chain intelligence provider Arkham reported two direct withdrawals from Coinbase that moved a combined 4,136,208,073,220 SHIB — about $35 million at current prices — making it one of the quarter's largest outflows from the exchange.

Large exchange withdrawals can signal accumulation, custodial reshuffling, or transfers to cold storage, and they reduce available sell-side liquidity on that platform. Traders should watch subsequent on-chain activity and Coinbase balances for clues on intent; short-term price impact may be limited while SHIB remains range-bound, but recurring large withdrawals could tighten liquidity and raise volatility risk if buying interest returns.
