Ethereum has scheduled two major 2026 upgrades - Glamsterdam in mid-2026 and Heze-Bogota in late-2026 - to enable parallel processing, raise the block gas limit to 200 million, improve fee mechanics and deploy ePBS, all within a more predictable twice-yearly upgrade cadence.
