DIA Launches Oracle to Value $100B+ in Illiquid Crypto Assets

Published at 2026-03-10 17:31:29

DIA has launched DIA Value, an on-chain oracle service intended to deliver fair-value pricing for illiquid DeFi assets with a combined notional above $100 billion. The feed targets tokens and pools where spot markets are thin or absent, offering reference prices that aim to mitigate forced liquidations and extreme slippage during volatile periods.

The rollout is significant for lenders, custodians, derivatives desks and other institutional actors that require defensible marks for collateral valuation, risk management and reporting. By extending reliable pricing into less liquid corners of the market, DIA seeks to improve capital efficiency and encourage broader institutional integration, though real-world adoption will hinge on protocol integrations and how the oracle performs under stress.
