FedEx Joins Hedera Council to Transform Supply Chains

FedEx has become the latest major corporator on the Hedera Council, taking a seat alongside Google, IBM and Dell and committing to operate a Hedera network node. The logistics giant’s participation gives it a direct role in governance and technical decisions for the network, and represents a concrete step toward integrating distributed-ledger tools into global shipping and freight operations.

The addition matters because council members both validate the platform for enterprise use and accelerate development of real-world supply-chain applications—think provenance, shipment tracking, dispute resolution and faster settlement. While this doesn’t guarantee immediate token-market effects for HBAR, FedEx’s on-chain involvement strengthens Hedera’s credibility with enterprises and could spur partners and developers to build integrations tailored to logistics workflows.
