SharpLink aggressively expanded its Ethereum treasury to about 870,000 ETH and recorded 14,516 ETH in staking rewards in 2025, becoming the second-largest public ETH holder. Despite a 50% increase in staking revenue, price volatility drove a $734 million annual loss.

Backed by Consensys, Sharplink has emerged as one of the largest publicly disclosed Ethereum treasuries, holding 867,798 ETH (about $1.72 billion) and reporting 46% institutional ownership as of Dec. 31, 2025. The firm added 60 institutional investors amid an Ethereum-focused strategy and rebranding.

SharpLink Gaming, a major publicly traded Ethereum treasury firm, has allocated $170 million in ETH to the Linea Layer 2 network for staking and restaking. The move aims to optimize yields, boost participation on Linea, and could establish a new benchmark for institutional Ethereum management.
