Bitcoin’s network difficulty fell 11.16% over the weekend, marking the largest reduction since the July 2021 collapse after China’s mining crackdown. The adjustment makes mining easier and points to recent downward pressure on hash rate and miner profitability.
At block 923,328 on Nov. 13, 2025 the Bitcoin network recorded its 23rd difficulty adjustment of the year, trimming mining difficulty by 2.37%. It is the seventh downward adjustment in 2025, giving miners a rare short-term easing in competition for the next block reward.
