MicroStrategy Makes Largest Bitcoin Purchase Since July — 10,645 BTC

MicroStrategy acquired 10,645 BTC between Dec. 8 and Dec. 14 for a total of $980.3 million, at an average price of $92,124 per bitcoin, the company announced Monday. The purchase was funded with proceeds from its at-the-market (ATM) equity offering program and represents the firm's biggest buy since July, continuing its strategy of using equity raises to add to crypto holdings.

The move reinforces MicroStrategy’s persistent corporate allocation to Bitcoin and highlights how public companies are using structured equity programs to accumulate BTC. While the immediate market impact depends on liquidity and execution, the size and transparency of the purchase may bolster institutional demand narratives and keep attention on corporate treasury strategies in the crypto space.
