Aave Labs — under founder Stani Kulechov's leadership — intends to submit a formal proposal to distribute non-protocol (off-protocol) revenue to AAVE token holders. The move is designed to ease governance disputes, broaden how value is captured beyond DeFi lending, and make the roles of the DAO, the neutral lending protocol and commercial products built on it clearer.
