The Hyper Foundation has submitted a validator vote to permanently declare nearly $1 billion of HYPE held in Hyperliquid’s Assistance Fund as burned, formalizing a binding social consensus that these tokens are removed from both circulating and total supply and will remain inaccessible in any future upgrades.
