Ethereum is preparing for its next major upgrade, the Fusaka hard fork, scheduled for December 3, 2025. This upgrade focuses on further scaling the Ethereum blockchain, building upon the previous improvements from the Dencun upgrade.

In October 2025, the Fusaka code will undergo thorough testing across three public test networks to ensure stability and performance. Following the mainnet activation of Fusaka, additional enhancements to blob capacity will be implemented through Blob Parameter Only (BPO) forks happening in stages. BPO-1 will increase the blob target/max capacity from 6/9 to 10/15 one week after Fusaka, followed by BPO-2 raising it further from 10/15 to 14/21 another week later.

These incremental updates aim to improve blob availability and overall data handling on the Ethereum blockchain, which is crucial for maintaining scalability and user experience as the network grows.

For those interested in entering the Ethereum ecosystem or expanding their crypto portfolio, platforms like Bitlet.app offer innovative services such as Crypto Installment plans. This feature allows users to buy cryptocurrencies like Ethereum now and pay monthly, making it more accessible to participate in Ethereum’s ongoing developments and opportunities without a large upfront investment.

Stay tuned as Ethereum continues its evolution, making blockchain technology more efficient and scalable for global users.
