Former UK National Crime Agency Officer Sentenced for Stealing 50 Bitcoin

Paul Chowles, a former intelligence officer with Britain's National Crime Agency (NCA), has been sentenced to 5.5 years in prison after stealing 50 bitcoin from Thomas White, who operated the infamous Silk Road 2.0 dark web marketplace. The theft took place during an investigation into White's illegal activities following his 2014 arrest.
